About the role


We’re looking for a Verifications Analyst to join our KYC (Know Your Customer) team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in protecting our business and customers by verifying identities, conducting due diligence, and ensuring we meet regulatory standards.The ideal candidate is passionate about compliance, proficient in both English and Spanish, demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.


What you’ll be responsible for:


- Carry out detailed identity verification and document checks using both digital tools and manual review.

- Ensure compliance with KYC, AML (Anti-Money Laundering), and CFT (Countering the Financing of Terrorism) requirements.

- Review customer applications to spot risks or discrepancies, escalating high-risk cases or suspicious activity as needed.

- Work closely with internal teams to solve verification issues and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for genuine customers.

- Keep accurate records of your reviews and decisions, ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance.

- Stay current on industry best practices and regulatory changes in customer verification.

- Assist on improvements to verification processes and policies.


Experience & skills:


- Bilingual in English and Spanish (both written and spoken).

- Experience in KYC, AML/CTF, Sanctions, Fraud Prevention, or Customer Support.

- Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills.

- High attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing documentation.

- Ability to stay calm and focused when working under pressure or managing high volumes.

- Flexibility and adaptability to rapidly changing priorities and processes.

- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and proactively.

- Comfortable working with digital tools and verification systems.

- High integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information.


Nice to have: 


- Experience in Financial Services, Banking, or FinTech.

- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks related to AML/CTF, Sanctions Compliance, and Fraud Detection.

- Familiarity with compliance systems and case management and customer service platforms.

- Experience multitasking and thriving under tight deadlines.
