As part of an exciting uplift to our Procurement and Vendor Management team, we are looking for a Vendor Governance Manager to join the team!
The purpose of the Vendor Governance Manager, role is to support with the establishment of and manage vendor contracts to deliver outcomes that effectively meet Cuscal’s requirements, and ensure vendors comply with their contractual obligations.
The position is responsible for vendor governance of key Cuscal vendors and will strive to facilitate harmonious relationships and problem-solving efforts across Cuscal, and its vendors.
You’ll also make an impact by:
Implementation, management, and ongoing operation of a Vendor Governance Framework which addresses all required oversight requirements and ensures the ongoing effective operation and measurement of relevant technology service areas
Ensure the Governance Framework and all required artefacts are embedded within the day-to-day operations.
Participate in and provide reporting to relevant governance forums to support with decision making requirements.
Effectively manage vendor operational contract enquiries, issues, disputes, variations, risks and undertaking negotiations with vendors as required.
With large contracts, manage contract review meetings to ensure delivery against objectives and contract budgets, develop regular reports on contract milestones and performance, and inform internal customers, technology vendors and management of activities and progress through regular written and verbal communication.
Provide informed advice in relation to contracts interpretation, management, service level and quality assessment, benchmarking and dispute resolution.
Contribute to the development and delivery of agreed savings targets.
Establish and continuously improvement vendor management processes.
Stay informed on industry trends and developments and takes steps to incrementally increase maturity levels.
What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you’ll have:
8+ years’ experience in Procurement, Contract Management, Vendor Management and Governance processes within financial services, ideally in a payments or digital banking context.
Experience in stakeholder relationship management, influence and decisioning making.
A Proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to manage multiple initiatives / issues / escalations.
