Roles and Responsibilities:
A. Does (Key Tasks / Responsibilities):
Drive revenue growth within the assigned region and MSME scope by applying strong leadership, sales acumen, and market understanding.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the territory.
Set clear sales objectives and goals aligned with company targets.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key clients and customers.
Address customer concerns promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels.
Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts within the territory.
Sales Execution:
Lead sales activities actively, including presentations, negotiations, and deal closures when necessary.
Monitor and manage the sales pipeline to ensure timely follow-ups on leads and opportunities.
Market Analysis and Reporting:
Conduct regular market analysis to stay updated on industry trends.
Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) for the territory.
Prepare and present sales performance reports to senior management.
Product and Industry Knowledge:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and industry developments.
Provide ongoing training and support to the sales team on new offerings.
Ensure the team effectively communicates the value proposition to customers.
Sales Forecasting and Budgeting:
Develop and oversee the sales budget for the region.
Contribute to sales forecasting using market trends and historical data.
Monitor actual sales against forecasts and implement corrective actions as needed.
Collaboration with Other Departments:
Work closely with marketing, product development, and other relevant teams.
Communicate market feedback to aid product improvements.
Support promotional activities and campaigns.
Compliance and Ethics:
Ensure all sales activities comply with laws, regulations, and company policies.
Promote ethical business practices within the sales team.
Feedback and Continuous Improvement:
Collect feedback from customers and team members to improve sales processes.
Implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Sales or Business Development roles.
Tech-savvy with proficiency in Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).
Preferably with background or experience in financial industry sectors such as banking, microfinance institutions (MFIs), or digital wallets.
