Job Description

Your Opportunity

As a Payment Operations Officer, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and success of Cuscal’s Product Delivery team. From providing exceptional customer support to exploring our client’s environment to delivering high-quality products, your work will make a tangible difference to the businesses and customers that the Australian financial sector serves.

You’ll also make an impact by:

Functions include but not limited to handle Bpay, Direct Entry, NPP, Member Chequing and NPP function below:

Handle Bpay biller and payer related tasks.
Work on Direct entries market and client releases accurately and timely.
Accurately action cheque processing, services, manual paperwork and image verification.
Handle NPP related tasks.

Ensure that the daily work is actioned within cut-off times, meeting the requirements of our clients, APN, regulators and other Financial Institutions.
Identify and escalate issues and concerns, client complaints, service failures, supplier failures or non-compliance to Cuscal policy.

Adherence to processes and accurate documentation of procedures to meet audit and compliance policies.
Build relationships and liaise with internal stakeholders, clients, other Financial Institutions, Vendors, regulators and Scheme.
Action and respond to client service requests and other internal requests in a timely, accurate manner to meet SLAs.
Contribute towards the quality assurance policy and continuous improvement in the Team.
Project related duties as required such as onboarding of Clients, implementation of new initiatives and scheme mandates.
Manage Administration and general office duties.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you’ll have:

Experience working in Payments.
Previous work experience in an administrative or client service-based role.
Payments industry knowledge essential.
