Job Description
We are looking for a P&C Systems Specialist to join our dynamic People & Culture team on a 15-month maximum term contract to provide systems support to the team during the implementation of new corporate systems.
The P&C Systems Specialist role is pivotal in our transition to Workday, where we aim to centralise some of our legacy systems and integrate others. As we embark on this significant project, the current incumbent will be dedicated to the transition project, you will support both the administration of the legacy systems, and at times the transformation project. Your role will be essential in ensuring that our existing systems continue to function smoothly during this period of change. As part of our small Systems & Data team within People and Culture, you'll play a role in testing and transforming our new system, applying your expertise to ensure quality and support a smooth transition.
In this role, you will facilitate various People and Culture lifecycle activities such as onboarding, training, performance management, and data output. You will monitor existing integrations and assist users with their queries, ensuring they are directed to the correct system.
You’ll also make an impact by:
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of our P&C systems, including user access, troubleshooting and systems updates
Providing system support to P&C team and across the organisation in a timely manner
Maintaining high levels of compliance and data security of all P&C systems and user access
Identifying and troubleshooting any data integrations issues, working closely with the People Systems & Project Manager and Technology teams, to allow for accurate, consistent and secure data transfer between systems
Working on systems configuration requirements to meet the P&C Team and business needs including uploading and rolling out of training, performance related activities, remuneration review and key results planning
Assisting with process mapping, system decommissioning, and the testing and implementation of the new Workday solution
Seeking and communicating feedback from stakeholders to improve and optimise systems and processes where practicable during the transition
Qualifications
What you’ll bring
You’re a curious thinker, who is detail orientated and can solve complex problems; you have excellent communications skills and a passion for systems and data. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are driven to contribute to a dynamic team.
To succeed in this role, you’ll have the following essential skills & experience:
Proficient in HR systems, ideally Cornerstone
Previous experience in a similar systems role
Troubleshooting experience and basic understanding of data transfer and system integrations
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to learn new systems and processes with a curiosity to learn and understand how things work
Patience and creativity to work with existing systems
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, at both a technical and non-technical level
High attention to detail and data accuracy
Ability for context switching between multiple systems
Although not required any experience in the following would be highly desirable:
Experience implementing an HRIS, preferably Workday
Experience using Workday and Cornerstone
Experience using/troubleshooting Applicant Tracking Systems and Strong consideration of risk in day-to-day tasks Onboarding software, SmartRecruiters would be highly regarded
Any experience with Aurion software
Some experience of HR systems and processes from a prior P&C Coordinator/Advisor role
