Coins EU is the European arm of a fast-growing digital asset platform committed to providing secure, user-friendly, and compliant crypto services across the region. As we expand our European presence, we are seeking a strategic, entrepreneurial, and execution-focused Country Manager to lead our operations and growth in the EU. 


Role Summary

As Country Manager, you will serve as Coins EU’s senior-most leader in the region. You will oversee local strategy, operations, user acquisition, and market expansion initiatives. This is a high-impact leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, highly regulated digital finance environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Strategy & Expansion
  • Define and execute Coins EU’s go-to-market strategy for key EU countries
  • Identify and prioritize market opportunities across user segments (retail, OTC, merchant)
  • Support expansion into new jurisdictions in alignment with product and compliance readiness
  •  Business Growth & Partnerships
  • Drive user acquisition and retention through localized campaigns and partnerships
  • Build and manage relationships with key ecosystem partners: payment providers, banks, fintech platforms, and associations
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and business teams to localize and optimize product offerings for EU users
  •  Operational Execution
  • Oversee daily operations in the region, ensuring high service quality and efficiency
  • Coordinate with customer support, fraud/risk, and engineering teams to resolve local issues and improve user experience
  • Track and report on KPIs, market performance, and operational bottlenecks
  •  Leadership & Representation
  • Represent Coins EU to regulators, business partners, and public stakeholders (excluding regulatory filings)
  • Act as a cultural and strategic bridge between EU operations and global HQ
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a local cross-functional team as needed


Requirements
  • Based in the EU with authorization to work in the region
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in fintech, digital assets, financial services, or tech
  • Proven track record in launching or scaling products across EU markets
  • Familiarity with European financial services regulation and competitive landscape
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in English; additional EU languages are a strong plus


Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in commercial operations, business development, or general management
  • Experience in crypto exchanges, digital wallets, neobanks, or payment systems
  • Familiarity with SEPA payments, fiat on/off ramps, and EU banking infrastructure
  • Experience building and leading distributed teams
