As an FDIC‑supervised Industrial Loan Company (ILC) with a strong compliance foundation the Bank is entering its next phase of growth. The BSA/AML Director will advance, modernize, and execute the Bank’s enterprise BSA/AML & Sanctions Program, ensuring it remains fully compliant, risk‑based, technologically efficient, and commensurate with the Bank’s increased size, scope, and product complexity.Please note that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Governance
• Serve as the designated BSA/AML Officer.
• Advance, implement, and oversee a risk‑based BSA/AML & OFAC compliance program.
• Ensure program commensurate with bank growth including product expansion.
• Maintain BSA/AML & OFAC Risk Assessment.
• Prepare executive dashboards and Board materials.
Financial Crimes Operations
• Oversee transaction monitoring, SAR/CTR, sanctions, KYC/CIP/CDD/EDD.
• Partner with operations to oversee and develop BSA investigation function.
• Implement enhanced transaction monitoring technology.
Strategic Partner & Third‑Party Risk Oversight
• Implement oversight of Strategic Partners and TPRM controls.
• Ensure oversight of parent‑company supported functions.
Compliance & Regulatory Engagement
• Act as regulatory contact.
• Coordinate independent testing, audits, and validations.
• Maintain exam‑ready documentation.
Fraud & Enterprise Risk Support
• Support fraud‑risk strategy and investigations.
• Contribute to enterprise risk processes.
Qualifications
Required:
• Technical and working knowledge of BSA/AML program requirements.
• 8–12+ years BSA/AML & sanctions experience.
• Experience with FinTech/third‑party oversight.
• Strong communication skills.
Preferred:
• Fraud‑risk experience.
• CAMS, CRCM, CFCS, CFE.
• Experience modernizing TM systems.
Success Indicators
- Implement an enhanced transaction monitoring program.
- Advance the BSA/AML program commensurate with Bank growth and increased product complexity
- Ensure no gaps in BSA/AML program.
The base annual salary range for this role is $150,000 to $200,000. We offer a highly competitive total compensation package which includes a base salary commensurate with experience, performance-based bonus opportunities, stock awards as part of our long-term incentive plan, and a competitive benefits package that includes health, retirement, wellness programs, and more.
