About the Role ✨

You will be part of a team supporting business owners who rely on Zeller, and be helping promote, explain and create products which make our customer’s money work better. This Web Developer role is primarily to work with the brand design team, creating amazing website experiences on our public facing, marketing-oriented web properties. Zeller includes a large team of frontend, backend engineers who work on our digital products and logged-in website, but this new role is primarily outside of that area.

Design is integral to the Zeller business, and realising design through beautiful, efficient and engaging code directly supports that.

You'll code new and upgraded website pages and sections. experiences and features throughout myzeller.com. You'll conceptualise and assess options quickly yet with an eye to detail and challenging accepted patterns. You'll also be involved in realising beautiful, engaging, and effective interactions, with our brand.

Our website uses Storyblok CMS running on Vercel, utilising Next.js 15 and Tailwind CSS, with GitHub version control.

• Code website modules and pages 
• Thoughtfully research and implement interaction, effect and animation options 
• Use our modern web-development environment and framework
• Create proof-of-concept pages for review
• Have involvement with design at all stages from brief-shaping to deployment
• Play a role in our evolving design system
• Deploy performant, optimised code to our live website
• Engage with SEO specialist to get the best from our sites

• Graduate of a relevant tertiary course.
• Experience collaborating on projects in a range of ways.
• A folio which proudly represents your talents.
• Evidence of your working method using modern web technologies.
• Experience with Figma.
• Experience and confidence working with a popular, modern CMS.
• Abilities to code for optimised load-speed and SEO ranking.
• Great JS skills for animation and effects.
