About the job
As a Strategic Finance Specialist at Vana, you will have a direct impact in funding the future of one of the fastest growing and most recognized fintech companies in the region.
You will serve as the primary analytical partner for our Head of Capital Strategy, building the financial narratives used to raise debt and equity capital. When not in "fundraising mode", you will be coordinating valuation processes, managing investor data rooms, and working with the Head of FP&A on market intelligence and other strategic projects.
What you will do
1. Capital Strategy, Fundraising and Valuations (Primary Focus):
-Fundraising Modeling: Build and maintain financial models for Debt and Equity raises.
Investor Materials: Own the end-to-end creation of teasers and pitch decks. You will turn data into visually clean slides for banks, private, and institutional investors.
-Data Room Management: Maintain the data room. Ensure all financials and documents are updated, organized, enabling rapid and accurate response to due diligence and investor questions.
-Valuations: Coordinate valuation processes with third-party firms.
2. Strategic Analysis and Projects (Secondary Focus):
-Market Intelligence: Perform industry and peer benchmarking.
-Board Reporting Support: Assist CFO and Head of FP&A with the design of the Board of Directors presentation.
Who you are
-Experience 3-5 years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Private Equity, Management Consulting or Transaction Services.
-Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or Industrial Engineering. CFA, FMVA, and/or Master’s degree is a plus.
-Financial Modeling Expert: You have a deep understanding of the 3-statement model, accounting and financial modeling standards.
-Visual storyteller with designer eye: You care about aesthetics and build beautiful and compelling slides and charts that make complex data look simple.
-Attention to detail: You are paranoid about accuracy. You double-check your numbers because you know a small mistake can undermine credibility.
-Ownership and versatility: You understand that capital raising is cyclical. You have the grit to sprint during fundraising periods and the intellectual curiosity to pivot during slower periods.
