How do we work?

As our Senior Payroll Specialist you will be joining our 3-person Payroll Team in Canada and Poland, being a part of the global People Operations Department.

Reporting to the Global Payroll Manager, the Senior Payroll Specialist will play a critical role in processing and developing payroll for our rapidly growing workforce.

We work in a hybrid model – we would love to meet you in the office from time to time.

Please be informed that the contract is a fixed term (absence cover) with an intended duration of 16 months.

In this role, you will:

  • Process semi-monthly (Canada, USA) and monthly payrolls (Japan, Singapore, United Kingdom).

  • Be responsible for benefits management: onboarding, offboarding, changes and monthly pension contributions.

  • Review invoices and provide backup data to the Finance Team to secure timely payments.

  • Liaise with the global People Operations Team to ensure best practices and good partnerships.

  • Support internal and external audits.

What skill set do you need, to be successful in this role?

  • Min. 4-5 years of experience processing Canadian and US payrolls.

  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.

  • Previous experience of working with external payroll providers.

  • Ability to self-organize, work independently, and prioritize high work volume.

  • Creative and analytical mind, a can-do attitude in solving problems.

  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-changing and dynamic environment with evolving systems and procedures.

Nice to have:

  • Global payroll exposure.

  • Workday system knowledge.

  • Certified Payroll Professional (PCP) or Canadian Payroll Association (PCP).
