Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Needs and Strategy Development: Gain a deep understanding of what employees need and how they work with their tools. Create a strategic plan to improve the employee experience with these resources, making sure it aligns with the company's broader objectives. Find and promote new and better ways to make work tools and applications easier to use and more effective.
  • Putting Plans into Action: Turn the strategic vision into real improvements in how employees use their work tools. Design user-friendly ways to interact with technology and make it simpler for employees to start using new tools. Manage the introduction of new tools and updates, ensuring smooth transitions and good training for employees. Set up ways to collect and use employee feedback to make things better.
  • Making Ongoing Improvements: Regularly check how well workplace tools and applications are working and how happy employees are with them. Use information and feedback to find areas that can be made better and make ongoing changes. Encourage a mindset of always making things better so that tools stay relevant and helpful as employee needs change.
  • Managing and Maintaining Tools: Look after the essential work tools on an ongoing basis to make sure they continue to be valuable to employees. Keep an eye on the quality of the employee experience and spot potential problems early. Stay up-to-date on new trends in workplace technology to help decide how tools should change or be replaced in the future.
  • Working with Technical Teams: Collaborate closely with technical colleagues to make sure the basic technical aspects of work tools and applications are strong. This involves working together to maintain high levels of Reliability (making sure tools are available, perform well, are accurate, and can handle growth) and Security (protecting data, controlling who can access what, and following rules). Help set up Optimal Configurations that follow the best practices and technical standards in the industry. Contribute to thinking about and planning for the life cycle of work tools, including checking them, upgrading them, and deciding when to stop using them.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree holder of any computer related course with at least 5-10 years relevant experience user experience design and/or user research.
  • Expertise in human-centered design frameworks and methodologies.
  • Experience in managing digital work tools for the enterprise and other workplace-related platforms.
  • Knowledge in key IT practices in the areas of reliability, security, and process optimization.
  • Advantageous if you have relevant IT, process, and/or UX certifications.
