Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Manager, P&C Operations to join our dynamic People & Culture function to lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of core HR services and systems across the employee lifecycle.

In this role you will enable operational excellence, compliance and a positive employee experience by leveraging systems data and scalable processes across the employee lifecycle. You’ll partner closely with HR Business Partners, the broader P&C team, employees and business leaders to align P&C operations with the broader People Strategy.

You’ll also make an impact by:
Service Delivery

Overseeing the end-to-end HR services including onboarding, offboarding contract management and employee records
Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of P&C services with a focus on employee experience and service excellence
Establishing and tracking KPIs for service performance and driving automation and continuous improvement

People Systems and Data Governance

Managing and optimising HRIS platforms
Championing digitalisation and automation in HR operations
Owning the management and maintenance of employee records

Workforce planning

Owning the budgeting, tracking and forecasting of the overall workforce, in close partnership with Finance and the business

Policy Compliance and Risk management

Ensuring policy compliance with relevant legislation and regulation
Developing and owning the Work Health & Safety strategy, processes and practices
Managing employee agreement templates and ensure effective document retention
Supporting workforce compliance requirements including visa background checks and other regulatory requirements

Facilities & Team Administration

Overseeing the management of the physical work environment, including compliance with Work Health and Safety requirements
Ensuring the ongoing maintenance of equipment and services
Overseeing Team Administration (including invoicing)

The accountabilities of this role span P&C Operations, Systems and Reporting and Data.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring

You’re a curious thinker, who is detail orientated and can solve complex problems; you have excellent communications skills and a passion for HR Operations. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are driven to contribute to a dynamic team.

To succeed in this role, you’ll have the following essential skills & experience:

Tertiary qualifications in business or human resources (or equivalent experience)
8+ years of progressive experience in HR, with a strong focus on HR operations, shared services, or HR service delivery.
Proven experience managing core HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, employee lifecycle management, benefits administration, and compliance.
Demonstrated ability to streamline and improve HR operational workflows and service delivery models.
Experience leading and developing HR teams, including HR coordinators, administrators, and specialists.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments
Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms ideally Workday or similar (SuccessFactors, SAP, Oracle), including system implementation or optimisation.
Strong understanding of data integrity, reporting, and analytics within HR systems.
Deep knowledge of employment legislation, privacy laws, and HR compliance requirements in Australia.
Demonstrated experience in managing Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) programs, including incident reporting, compliance, and coordination of Workers Compensation claims and return-to-work processes
