The combination strengthens our B2B focus, broadens our payments and regulated data services offering, and increases our ability to support banks, fintechs and corporates with resilient, secure and future‑ready solutions

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Corporate Manager to join our Client, Growth & Strategy Team. shaping and executing Cuscal’s corporate strategy and growth agenda.

Partnering closely with the Head of Strategy and the broader Senior Leadership Team, this role combines rigorous strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery to advance enterprise‑wide priorities including corporate planning, market positioning, M&A, and strategic execution governance. The role drives Cuscal’s long-term growth, resilience, and competitive advantage through strong analysis, commercial judgement, pragmatic delivery, and the influence to shape strategic narratives and mobilise the organisation around priority initiatives.

This is a highly visible role across Cuscal, with responsibilities for the role sitting across 3 key areas

1. Corporate Strategy

Shape and deliver Cuscal’s corporate strategy and growth agenda, including the multi‑year roadmap, enterprise priorities, and alignment with capital and operating plans.

Act as a trusted advisor to the Executive Leadership Team and senior leaders, supporting strategy development, decision making, and communication through Board materials, strategy offsites, and planning cycles.

Drive disciplined execution of enterprise strategy by translating ambition into clear roadmaps, success measures, and active monitoring of progress, risks, and interdependencies.

2. Partnerships and M&A

Support Cuscal’s growth agenda through partnerships, alliances, acquisitions, and divestments aligned to long‑term strategic objectives.

Identify, assess, and prioritise partnership and M&A opportunities through strong strategic assessment, market analysis, and evaluation of strategic fit.

Lead or support end‑to‑end transaction activity, including investment thesis development, due diligence, executive and Board materials, and integration and value realisation planning.

3. Strategic Initiatives and Execution

Drive enterprise‑wide strategic initiatives, aligning strategic intent, investment decisions, ownership, and measurable outcomes.

Lead and embed the Quarterly Business Review as the primary enterprise forum for tracking progress, reinforcing accountability, and addressing risks and underperformance early.

Apply clarity and creativity in strategic communication through concise executive narratives, visual reporting, and storytelling that mobilises leaders and teams around priorities.

About You
You bring depth across corporate strategy execution, transactions and you are comfortable moving from board‑level thinking to hands‑on delivery. You build credibility through trusted relationships, sound judgement and follow‑through.

Extensive experience (7+ years) in corporate strategy, management consulting, corporate development, or investment banking, ideally within financial services, payments, or technology‑enabled sectors.

Direct experience supporting major strategic transactions, including M&A, partnerships, alliances, joint ventures, or large commercial deals, with involvement from assessment through to integration or implementation.

Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with particular strength in PowerPoint and Excel, producing executive‑ready narratives, visuals, and Board materials.

Strong written communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear strategy papers, Board submissions, investment cases, and decision memos.

High comfort working with data, financial analysis, and commercial models to support strategic assessment and investment decisions.
