Job Description
Your Opportunity
This is a Maximum-Term Contract (up to 2 years).
The Senior Manager, Architecture is responsible for driving cross domains and cross business units architectural alignment to support enterprise wide delivery. The role focuses on ensuring consistency, cohesion, and adherence to established architectural principles, guardrails, and patterns across projects and technology initiatives. Working in close partnership with the Enterprise Architects and Domain Solution Architects, this role ensures that solution and domain architecture decisions align with strategic intent, enterprise standards, and the long-term architectural roadmap. The Senior Manager, Architecture plays a key role in enabling efficient execution, reducing architectural risk, and strengthening governance across the technology landscape.
Qualifications
What you’ll bring
To succeed in this role, you’ll have:
Deep understanding of modern architecture disciplines including application, data, integration and cloud architecture
Strong capability in designing scalable and resilient solutions across complex enterprise environments
Broad experience with cloud platforms, virtualisation, container orchestration, integration technologies and API design
Knowledge of event driven patterns, distributed systems, service based architectures and modern data platforms‑driven patterns, distributed systems, service‑based architectures and modern data platforms
Familiarity with security architecture principles, identity management, access control and regulatory technology requirements
Communicates solution direction and design decisions clearly to senior leaders, delivery teams and business stakeholders
Provides strong leadership presence and influences alignment across diverse teams
Simplifies complex problems and shapes clear, structured solution approaches
Works effectively with architects, engineers, analysts and delivery managers to ensure cohesive execution
Builds trusted relationships and maintains credibility across business units and technology domains
Organises and prioritises work across multiple initiatives with disciplined planning
Skilled in evaluating technology options and selecting patterns that balance performance, security, cost and maintainability
Strong understanding of engineering practices, delivery methodologies, solution design processes and architecture governance
Ability to guide teams in applying architecture standards, reference models and reusable patterns
