Role Overview
The Junior Salesforce QA & Administrator plays a critical support role that enables Salesforce Architects to focus on designing the new Salesforce architecture by mitigating technical debt and ensuring operational stability. This role is responsible for maintaining the current Salesforce Org while ensuring the quality and reliability of the new architecture under development.
Key Responsibilities
Current Org Support
- Manage and resolve daily support tickets for the existing Salesforce Org, including:
- Merges and data clean-up
- Minor field updates and configuration changes
Project and record creation
- Act as Level 1 support in the escalation process, resolving issues or routing them appropriately.
- Maintain stability and minimize disruptions to business operations.
Quality Assurance (QA)
- Design, document, and execute comprehensive test plans for the new Salesforce Org.
- Validate that new flows, dependencies, objects, automations, and permission sets function as intended.
- Identify defects, inconsistencies, and risks, and work closely with Architects to resolve them.
Technical Approval
- Provide final QA sign-off for implementations before they move to Business User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Ensure all changes meet defined quality standards and technical requirements.
- Confirm readiness of features and configurations for business validation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–3 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, QA Analyst, or similar role.
- Salesforce Administrator certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with QA methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking tools is desirable.
- Experience working in Agile or sprint-based environments is a plus.
- Hands-on experience supporting Salesforce Orgs in an administrative or QA capacity.
- Understanding of Salesforce core objects, flows, permissions, and basic automation.
- Ability to manage multiple tickets and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in English.
