The Role

We’re looking for an Enterprise Risk & Assurance Analyst to join our Legal, Compliance & Risk function, supporting risk and assurance activities across Australia, Asia, Europe and the Americas.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of data, risk and business, partnering closely with stakeholders to identify, assess and manage risks that could impact Pepperstone’s commercial objectives.

As our Enterprise Risk & Assurance Analyst, your key responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

Risk & Assurance

  • Support enterprise risk and assurance practices in line with Pepperstone’s risk framework, policies, regulatory obligations, and risk appetite
  • Partner with the business to identify, log, and manage risks, controls, issues, and incidents
  • Support control design and testing, including working closely with Risk and Control Owners
  • Contribute to root cause analysis and remediation of operational risk incidents
  • Track remediation actions and support continuous improvement in risk practices
  • Provide risk guidance, training, and subject‑matter expertise across the business


Risk Reporting & Insights

  • Work with cross‑functional teams to capture requirements and translate them into our GRC tooling
  • Develop clear, high‑quality Enterprise Risk & Assurance reports and dashboards
  • Use data and analysis to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Support the preparation of materials for the Audit & Risk Committee
  • Leverage AI tools to improve the quality, accuracy, and efficiency of risk reporting

About You

  • 2+ years’ experience in risk reporting, risk analysis, governance or assurance within financial services
  • A degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics or a related field
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles, concepts and processes
  • Proven experience producing risk reports, dashboards or insights
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organised, self‑motivated and comfortable working to deadlines
  • Experience with CFD or trading operations is advantageous
  • Power BI and/or Tableau experience is desirable
