This role
The Regulatory Affairs professional will lead PayJoy Indonesia’s interactions withregulatory authorities, ensure compliance with Indonesian financial services regulations,and support the safe and responsible growth of PayJoy’s credit products in Indonesia’sevolving fintech landscape.

Responsibilities- Ensure full compliance with OJK, Bank Indonesia, and all relevant financial services regulations.
- Monitor and interpret regulatory changes that may impact PayJoy’s products, operations, or secured-credit technology.
- Prepare and manage regulatory reports, documentation, and licensing requirements.
- Advise leadership and internal teams on regulatory obligations and compliance risks.
- Build strong relationships with regulatory bodies such as OJK, Bank Indonesia, and Kominfo.
- Represent PayJoy in regulatory meetings, consultations, and industry discussions.
- Identify regulatory and operational risks and recommend mitigation measures.
- Develop and update internal compliance policies and frameworks.
- Support internal audits and compliance reviews.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure products align with regulatory requirements.
- Provide internal training on regulatory updates and compliance matters.
- Collaborate with global and regional teams on regulatory best practices.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Public Policy, or related field.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian financial services regulations.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in regulatory, compliance, or legal roles within fintech, banking, financing, or credit.
- Experience engaging with regulatory or government institutions.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills with regulators and internal stakeholders.
- Proactive and able to anticipate compliance risks.
- Experience in consumer finance, digital lending, alternative credit scoring, or secured-credit models.
- Knowledge of digital onboarding, AI-driven risk models, data privacy, and consumer protection regulations.
- Comfortable working in a fast-growing, mission-driven fintech environment.
