We’re looking for an QA Engineer to join our Payments Domain.
In this role, you’ll leverage your technical skills to develop, maintain, and support innovative solutions that solve real-world challenges in the payments industry. From designing and building scalable systems to ensuring seamless integration with key technologies, your work will directly impact millions of users.

Overseeing the entire quality assurance process, from planning and strategizing to executing and maintaining test protocols.
This role involves not only identifying and mitigating potential risks but also ensuring that all software products comply with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
Implementing rigorous testing methodologies and automated solutions, this role helps prevent costly errors, security breaches, and compliance violations, thus safeguarding the organisation’s reputation and financial stability.
Fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the development team. This involves mentoring QA analysts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving the adoption of advanced testing techniques and tools.
Expertise in Agile methodologies and test automation, especially using frameworks like BDD, ensures that the development lifecycle is both efficient and responsive to changing business needs.
Deep understanding of financial processes allows them to design and execute tests that accurately reflect real-world scenarios, ensuring that the end products not only meet but exceed user expectations.

Qualifications
What you’ll bring
To succeed in this role, you’ll have:
5+ years of experience in quality assurance with a strong emphasis on software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies.
Automation and BDD Skills: Proficient in developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts using Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks such as Cucumber or Spec-Flow. Experience with test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python).
Agile environments, including participation in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and applying Agile principles to improve testing processes and team collaboration.
Advanced Testing Techniques: Knowledge of performance and security testing principles and best practices. Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) to integrate automated tests and ensure continuous delivery of high-quality software.
Defect Management and Reporting: Proficient in logging, tracking, and managing defects throughout their lifecycle. Experience in using defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM) and generating detailed reports and dashboards.
You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following:
Familiarity with financial systems, processes, and regulations.
Understanding of performance and security testing principles
Knowledge of working with codeless automation tools
