Our Why, What and How

We are a proudly purpose-led ASX-listed fintech on a mission to power peoples’ progress and make a real difference in the world, starting right here in Australia. By building products and experiences designed to have a positive impact on the financial health and lives of our customers, we are inching ever-closer to achieving our purpose.

We offer smarter, fairer loans that help people kick their goals sooner, a nifty round up tool to help people get out of debt and save even faster, and a dashboard that helps people track and improve their credit scores.

The better we do this, the more positive change and impact we can have on our customers. Now is the time to join one of Australia’s fastest growing fintechs and make an impact.

We are a people first business and value flexibility as part of our work - our team work in a hybrid working environment, 3 days per week in our beautiful office space.

About the Role

At Wisr, we’re on a mission to power peoples’ progress in providing the right tools to help Australians take control of their finances and achieve their goals.

As Process Excellence Lead, your work will ensure Wisr is positioned as our customer’s lender of choice, with the fastest turn around times, enabling them to achieve their goals quicker and easier. You will own the performance and outcomes of our end-to-end processes, identifying and delivering process improvement initiatives, driving a culture of continuous improvement and optimising how teams work.

This is a key role reporting to the COO and you will lead the planning and implementation of initiatives that boost operational efficiency, enable growth in our loan origination volumes, and deliver stand-out customer experiences and outcomes.

You’ll partner closely with a range of cross functional stakeholders across the business to design and deliver smarter, optimised workflows, implement data-driven process improvements and solutions, and embed a culture of continuous improvement.

What you’ll do:

• Build a process excellence capability across Wisr with a view to competitor positioning, delivering great customer outcomes and financial imperatives.

• Evaluate and analyse existing loan origination and customer service practices, workflows and policy settings to identify and deliver optimisation opportunities.

• Identify and leverage technology, new data sources, automation, and digital tools to drive efficiency across lending processes - this might include key focus areas such as how information is collected, verified or used to underwrite loans.

• Apply proven process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma to streamline operations, eliminate waste (in particular, rework), and optimise current resources.

• Design, lead and implement process uplift, policy change, automation and digitisation programmes as aligned with team and organisational objectives.

• Oversee the creation, maintenance and continued improvement of detailed process documentation, workflows and SOPs.

• Develop, track and report on key metrics tied to financial, risk and customer objectives.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across Wisr to ensure process improvements are understood, adopted, embedded and delivering measurable business value.

• Champion a culture of continuous improvement by mentoring teams, sharing best practices, and sharing market insights.

• Collaborate with the COO to translate emerging opportunities and operational challenges into actionable strategic initiatives
