Job Description

Your Opportunity

We’re looking for a PAM Engineer to join our IT Security team.

In this role, you’ll leverage your technical skills to develop, maintain, and support innovative solutions that solve real-world challenges in the payments industry. From designing and building scalable systems to ensuring seamless integration with key technologies, your work will directly impact millions of users.

You’ll also make an impact by:

Design and Implementation of PAM Solutions:

Lead the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Privilege Access Management systems.
Design and implement secure processes for managing privileged credentials, including password vaulting, session monitoring, and multi-factor authentication for privileged accounts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, compliance, and business units, to ensure PAM solutions meet organizational needs and regulatory requirements.

PAM Operations and Administration:

Monitor and manage daily operations of PAM systems, ensuring the availability, performance, and security of privileged accounts.
Manage the lifecycle of privileged accounts, including provisioning, de-provisioning, rotation, and auditing of credentials.
Conduct regular reviews of privileged access rights and ensure accounts adhere to the principle of least privilege.

Incident Response

Investigate and respond to any security incidents or anomalies related to privileged access.
Collaborate with the incident response team to ensure proper handling and mitigation of privileged account-related incidents.

Compliance and Auditing:

Ensure PAM processes and systems comply with regulatory frameworks and standards (e.g., CPS234, PCI-DSS, NIST).
Maintain audit logs and generate reports on privileged access activities for security and compliance purposes.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you’ll have:

Proven experience with PAM technologies (e.g., Active Directory, Azure AD, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, etc.) and their implementation in a complex, regulated environment.
5+ years of hands-on engineering experience with a focus on Privileged Access Management or Identity and Access Management (IAM).
Infrastructure experience (preferably Azure or GCP).
Basic understanding of networks and architecture (Firewalls, DNS, Whitelisting etc)
Strong understanding of security principles, authentication, authorization, and access control mechanisms
Be able to navigate the challenges of a varied role in a dynamic organisation.
Ability to identify tasks and activities required to meet project requirements and to set goals and priorities in line with business objective.
Ability to contribute to short, medium- and long-term planning and effectively promote ideas.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following:

Payment’s industry, ATM/EFT/POS technology, cards and finance or other regulated industries and/or 24x7 mission-critical environments.
Knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, CPS234, ASD Essential 8 etc.
Understanding of legal, regulatory, privacy and security matters associated with the Banking and Finance Industry.
