Role Definition
The responsibilities of a Performance Mgmt Lead revolves around Performance Measurement and Performance Improvement.
1 PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT
1.1 KPI Selection
Performance Metrics Creation - Assists in activities of the organization to identify and adopt performance metrics
1.2 KPI Documentation
Performance Metrics Documentation - Works with key internal stakeholders to complete detailed documentation of performance metrics (i.e. Definition, Targets, Data Sources, Reporting Frequency)
1.3 Data Gathering
Performance Data Gathering - Facilitates regular data gathering needed for reporting performance
Methods & Tools - Establishes processes and tools for effective data gathering
1.4 Data Visualization
Data Visualization - Sets-up, maintains, and improves performance dashboards for reporting
2 PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT
2.1 Reporting
Performance Reporting - Delivers periodic performance reports, executive summaries, management dashboards, etc.
2.2 Enablement
Metrics Calibration - Facilitates review of previous performance to check if the metric definition, targets, formula, and data gathered needs adjustments
Training Facilitation - Assists in activities to enable the organization to be better at Performance Management
Qualification
A. Work Experience
At least 3-6 years of working experience in Information Technology
At least 2 years of working experience specific to an IT Governance function or a Data Management function
Knowledge of General IT, Service Management, Project Delivery, IT Security, and Risk concepts
Process development and documentation
Proficient in spreadsheets, reports, and presentations
Proven facilitation skills. Ability to direct, lead and coordinate. Ability to overcome resistance to change while preparing and supporting those affected by change.
B. Level of Knowledge
Bachelor’s degree in Business / Computer Science / Information Technology / Industrial Engineering or equivalent
Work experience in an IT Governance function or a Data Management function
Preferably have extensive knowledge and experience in Data Visualization Tools (Google Looker Studio, Tableau) and spreadsheet applications.
C. Skills
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Problem-solving abilities to resolve issues, identify areas of improvement, and contribute to strategy formation
Proficient in spreadsheets, reports, and presentations
Advantage to be knowledgeable in data management (SQL).
Working knowledge in Industry-accepted Frameworks: ITIL, COBIT, and Balanced Scorecards (BSC)
Basic Knowledge in other Frameworks: Project Management, ISO 9001, Agile Methodology, and Six Sigma Methodology
