We are looking for a People Finance Business Partner to join our global Finance team. You will act as the connector between HR and Finance, bringing financial insights into workforce planning, compensation, and people initiatives. Your analysis will help optimize people-related expenses while maximizing organizational efficiency and supporting dLocal’s growth.

What will you be doing?
  • 1. FP&A
  • Partner with HR and Finance to develop and manage the workforce budget, including salaries, benefits, and headcount forecasting.
  • Deliverable: Update monthly payroll forecast by division/department, compare forecast vs budget, and drive corrective actions when needed.
  • Ensure the People department initiatives (e.g., bonus eligibility, offsites, travel, training) are aligned with the budget.
  • Analyze workforce costs and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Deliverable: Review cost per employee, assess allocation efficiencies, and trade-offs between internal vs external hiring.
  • Consolidate data from internal, external, and directors’ fees.
  • Build financial models to assess the impact of HR initiatives, such as talent acquisition or retention.
  • Deliverable: Review benefits and initiatives, estimate their intrinsic value.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis on workforce-related costs.
  • Deliverable: Cost of turnover, internal hiring vs headhunter expenses.
  • Collaborate on organizational changes (e.g., restructurings, M&A, automation projects) and assess their impact on workforce costs.

  • 2. Business Partnering
  • Act as a trusted advisor to HR leaders on budget management, financial risks, and opportunities.
  • Deliverable: Lead People budget reviews, ensuring assumptions and initiatives are well-mapped.
  • Support HR business cases with financial analysis.
  • Deliverable: Provide data-driven insights on dismissal costs, merit increases, and other people-related decisions.


What skills do you need?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, financial business partnering, or similar roles.
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience partnering with HR or People teams is a strong plus.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling proficiency.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in English (oral and written).
