This role
The Payroll Manager is responsible for manage end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring legal compliance, operational accuracy, and process efficiency through continuous improvement, system optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for MX and US employees processed by external vendors, including PTO, bonuses, terminations, and off-cycle payments.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, social security and statutory requirements in each jurisdiction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, legal and IT, to align payroll processes with organizational objectives.
- Prepare and oversee payroll audits, managing relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders for audits and compliance checks.
- Support payroll expansion into other LATAM countries as needed.
- Drive process improvements, documentation, controls, payroll system optimization and integration payroll systems and technology to improve efficiency, accuracy, accuracy, and data integrity.
- Stay ahead of changes in global payroll regulations and practices, adapting policies and processes as needed.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, IT, or related field.
- 5+ years of payroll experience, including multi-country exposure, specially focus in payroll for Mexico and the United States, but additional LATAM payrolls isa plus.
- Advanced knowledge of financial modeling and analysis techniques.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards (GAAP).
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with payroll systems and vendor management.
