Management Consultant

The Management Consultant will provide temporary, project-based advisory services to evaluate and enhance the company’s commercial strategy, market expansion planning, and cross-functional execution frameworks. The consultant will operate in a supernumerary capacity and will not assume ongoing managerial authority or operational control.
 
What You’ll Do:

Strategic & Market Advisory
  • Conduct a structured assessment of current commercial strategy and market positioning to identify expansion opportunities and revenue growth drivers.
  • Analyze total addressable market (TAM) and serviceable addressable market (SAM) opportunities and provide data-driven recommendations for scaling platform adoption.
  • Develop strategic frameworks to improve go-to-market (GTM) effectiveness and commercial execution across business units.
  • Advise leadership on market expansion strategies, including international growth and platform scalability.

Organizational & Process Optimization
  • Evaluate cross-functional collaboration processes across business development, finance, marketing, product, and R&D teams, and recommend improvements to enhance execution efficiency.
  • Assess integration strategies for newly acquired business units and provide recommendations to align commercial models and organizational structures.
  • Develop advisory recommendations for KPI structures, forecasting models, and incentive frameworks to improve commercial performance.
  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend structural and operational improvements to enhance scalability.

Execution Framework & Leadership Advisory
  • Provide advisory guidance to senior leadership on strategic planning initiatives and offsite planning sessions.
  • Recommend governance models to support enterprise-level strategic initiatives.
  • Advise on change management strategies to facilitate alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Prepare executive-level reports summarizing findings, risks, and strategic recommendations.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience; a combination of:
    • 3+ years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, or a related strategy and analytics role, with a proven track record of success.
    • 3+ years of experience in account management, customer success, or other customer relationship role
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive deep analytics and translate data into actionable insights
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Looker)
  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a focus on driving customer value and achieving business objectives

Other Job Details:

  • Strong preference for this role to be based out of our San Francisco, New York or Amsterdam offices
  • Full-time position with a minimum of 40 hours/week
  • Some domestic and international travel required

For San Francisco and New York, the annual base salary range for this role is $175,000 - 250,000; to learn more about our compensation philosophy, please click here.
