As the Lead Analyst of Business Assurance Management, you will be responsible for ensuring that business assurance processes effectively detect and prevent risks such as financial leakages, regulatory issues, and reputational damage. You will oversee key risk indicators (KRIs), manage cross-functional projects, and collaborate with various teams to drive the overall performance of business assurance operations. Your role will involve analyzing data, validating transactions, and providing actionable insights to enhance risk management processes.

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Business Assurance Operations:
    Monitor the performance of assigned business assurance processes, ensuring early identification of control weaknesses that may lead to financial, regulatory, or reputational risks.

  • KRI Development & Monitoring:
    Create and analyze key risk indicators (KRIs) to identify potential issues or risks. Ensure that these indicators are aligned with company processes and are actively monitored.

  • Transaction Validation:
    Test and validate transactions to ensure compliance with established policies, and assess the integrity of reports used for decision-making.

  • Process Improvement & Collaboration:
    Review and optimize business assurance processes, working closely with other departments to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide assurance that risks are identified, managed, and that revenue from new products or services is properly captured.

  • Reporting & Analytics:
    Assist in creating reports and dashboards that provide insights on KRI performance, contributing to continuous improvement in business assurance practices.

  • Support New Product Initiatives:
    Ensure that new products or services meet business assurance requirements and are free from fraud or financial risk before implementation.

  • Ad-Hoc Support:
    Participate in investigations, data analysis, and process enhancements to support business units and drive effective risk management solutions.

We are looking for:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data analytics, audit, or risk management.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, IT, Engineering, Accountancy, Computer Science, or Business Management.

  • Knowledge of risk management practices and regulatory compliance, especially within the fintech industry.

  • Strong skills in data analysis, process improvement, and project management.

  • Experience using SQL, Python, or other programming languages for data analysis.

  • Ability to create and manage dashboards and use AI tools to aid in process automation.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
