How do we work?
Join our global Trading Team! You will help manage the hedging and market-making for OANDA’s trading platform, as well as participate in the continued enhancement of our platform. You do not need to have previous trading experience - we are in search of people who are passionate about Forex Trading and are eager to learn more about how financial markets work in practice. It provides a great opportunity to broaden your knowledge and experience of what working in FinTech means.
In this role, you will:
Manage the market-making and hedging engine of OANDA’s trading platform.
Oversee the creation of pricing and the setting of swap fees.
Analyse customer activity.
Manage Net Open Position (NOP) levels at Prime Brokers.
Research, collect market intelligence; analyze and communicate market information to all relevant stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to regulatory and trading limits during execution.
Actively manage the client portfolio and ensure the highest level of service.
Stay on top of ongoing and developing market and industry trends.
Work with internal stakeholders to analyze customer activity, conduct post-trade analysis and tasks concerned with risk management.
Manage working relationships with brokers, key customers, and other external stakeholders at all levels of the trading division.
What skillset do you need to be successful in this role?
Previous experience in a trading environment will be an advantage.
University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Proficiency in using MS Office Suite (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, etc.).
Passion for financial markets, Forex trading and willingness to broaden knowledge of this area.
Very good communication and analytical skills.
Good work prioritizing and optimizing skills.
Ability to look at complex issues from multiple angles.
