Who You Are

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Financial Operations Specialist to join our growing Payment Operations team. This role is critical in ensuring smooth execution of day-to-day financial workflows and supporting the operational integrity of payments, disputes, and disbursements. The ideal candidate is highly organized, capable of working independently, and comfortable handling sensitive financial data in a regulated environment.


What you'll do

- Execute core operational processes including: Dispute management and tracking. Refunds processing and execution, Disbursement processing, and Financial reconciliation tasks

- Collect and analyze transaction and operational data to support reporting and identify process improvements.

- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with internal policies and compliance requirements.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including customer support, compliance, and finance.

- Use internal tools (e.g., Monday.com CRM) to manage workflows, prioritize tasks, and escalate issues when necessary.

- Assist with audits and regulatory reporting as needed.

- Assist in identification and implementation of new AI tools and resourcing to further automate daily tasks


What Skills you Need

- 1–2 years of experience in financial operations, banking, fintech, or a related field (preferred but not required for the right candidate).

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, basic formulas).

- Experience with workflow or CRM tools such as Monday.com or similar.

- Working knowledge of banking and securities terminology.

- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

- Ability to take direction, learn quickly, and troubleshoot issues independently using available tools and resources.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
