JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Learn about the financial services industry, Nelnet and internal audit
• Research and collect information about how business and IT functions work
• Analyze information and determine whether processes meet company standards and objectives
• Assist in the process of performing audit work and required documentation
• Work on special projects
• Collaborate with all levels of staff and management to understand how processes work and find ways to make the processes work even better
• Document and communicate the results of your work
• Participate in specific events and trainings for Nelnet interns
• Work with external auditors to help them understand internal processes through gathering information
Pay Range - $14 - $18
EDUCATION:
Pursuing degree in business/accounting/finance/management information systems/IT/data analytics or other business related field.
EXPERIENCE:
Familiarity with being a contributor on a team, gathering information and putting it together in a logical manner, quickly learning how things work, including technology.
