The NBS Culture Intern will work as part of the Culture team to create, develop and maintain programs, events and resources that engage and enrich associates. The Culture Intern will use their skills to produce various types of content and media designed to enhance the associate experience at NBS. Additionally, this position offers the Intern the opportunity to learn new and marketable skills through networking across the organization and performing additional duties as assigned.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research, edit, and publish associate-focused content across multiple types of media.
Assist in creating, presenting and/or facilitating, and organizing data for a variety of associate engagement events.
Provide logistical, onsite, and virtual support for associate events.
Create and maintain internal-facing sites for culture-related events, programs, and initiatives.
Participate in quality assurance review for culture content.
Assist in reviewing and synthesizing survey data to identify trends and associate needs.
Research new associate engagement trends and initiatives.
Create and participate in associate engagement projects as assigned.
Work on special projects as needed.
EDUCATION:
Must be enrolled in a 4-year college or university program, preferably with an emphasis on business, education, journalism, or marketing.
EXPERIENCE:
Presentation experience is preferred.
Experience in creating and editing audio, video, and written content a plus.
COMPETENCIES – SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Friendly, courteous, and service-oriented.
Comfortable talking/presenting in front of an audience.
Has the ability/willingness to learn to use the following software tools, as well as any other software tools necessary for the completion of a given task:
Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Teams
Canva
