About Brighte
Brighte is accelerating Australia’s transition to clean energy by making it affordable and accessible for every home and business. As a founder-led tech company in a critical growth phase, we’re building the platform that powers the uptake of solar, batteries and home electrification - at scale.
With an ambitious three-year strategy underway, we’re entering a phase where strategic clarity and disciplined execution are critical. The CEO remains hands-on in shaping Brighte’s strategic direction, but as the business scales, we’re looking for a partner who can help structure and drive delivery of our most important priorities with clarity and focus.
We’re a lean, focused team that moves fast. We prioritise impact over hierarchy, and this role is designed for someone who thrives in a resource-constrained environment - optimising what we have rather than building layers.
About the Role
This is a hybrid role designed for a senior operator who brings both strategic capability and delivery muscle. You will be a thought partner to the CEO, a driver of enterprise-wide execution, and a connector across the leadership team.
You may have held titles like Chief of Staff, Head of Strategy, GM, Strategic Operations, or even Founder. What matters most is your ability to think clearly, lead cross-functionally, and make complex things simpler - and faster.
This role is not about shielding the CEO. We believe strategy is best when it’s shared. You’ll work closely with the CEO and our Leadership Team, amplifying - not replacing - those relationships. You’ll help create leverage, not distance.

What You'll DoStrategy Sparring & Development
- Collaborate with the CEO to shape and refine Brighte’s strategy - bringing structured thinking, models, and challenge to support high-quality decision-making.
- Codify strategy into clear frameworks, choices, and trade-offs to support execution across the business.
Strategic Planning & Delivery
- Own the OKR and strategic planning process, linking the 3-year vision to annual planning, budget cycles, and quarterly priorities.
- Refine and scale Brighte’s delivery engine - ensuring priorities are clear, progress is transparent, and blockers are removed.
- Lead a small but high-performing team of Delivery Managers and BAs, supporting execution across departments.
CEO Enablement & Leadership Support
- Oversee the small, high-impact support function around the CEO, including managing the EA and ensuring the CEO is fully prepared for board meetings, investor engagements.
- Drive effective executive coordination, helping the CEO stay focused on the most strategic priorities while ensuring the right flow of information, follow-through, and stakeholder communication.
- Coordinate and drive the rhythm of the Leadership Team (LT)—including developing a planning calendar, ensuring weekly meetings are focused and outcomes-driven, and establishing a regular cadence of offsites and connection points.
- Step in to support the LT as needed - helping resolve blockers, share feedback, or progress decisions when the CEO is unavailable, while reinforcing clarity and momentum across the team.
- Act as a trusted extension of the CEO - amplifying visibility and connection, not creating distance.
Operational Agility & Problem-Solving
- Jump into critical projects or problem areas to get things moving, remove friction, or “fix what’s broken” in real time.
- Bring a practical, no-ego approach to execution - you’re comfortable switching between strategy sessions and fixing operational weeds.
What You Bring- Undergraduate degree is essential, ideally in business, commerce, law, engineering, or economics.
- Postgraduate qualifications highly regarded - such as an MBA, MPP, or Master’s in Strategy, Public Policy, or Sustainability.
- 10–15+ years of experience across strategy, operations, or leadership roles in high-growth environments.
- Strong foundation in strategic thinking - consulting, corporate strategy, or a commercial leadership role where you’ve shaped direction and made trade-offs.
- Demonstrated experience turning strategy into action, leading delivery rhythms, cross-functional initiatives, and performance frameworks.
- You’re a connector and influencer and people trust your judgment - you know how to bring others on the journey.
- Proven ability to operate in lean, high-growth environments - you know how to deliver results without needing large teams or complex structures.
- You lead without ego. You’re here to partner, not to gatekeep.
What's in it for you?- You'll get the opportunity to work in a space where strategy meets delivery, and where clean energy meets fintech. This is a high-impact role at the centre of a purpose-led, founder-led business with direct exposure to the CEO, board, and executive decision-making.
