What’s the opportunity?
We are looking for a Growth Manager – APAC to help our largest multinational clients unlock sustainable growth across the region. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of data, sales and client strategy, turning market and performance insights into concrete actions that grow TPV, improve unit economics and deepen dLocal’s partnerships with global tech and internet companies. You will work closely with the Head of Growth APAC and regional commercial teams, using data, AI tools and automation to identify opportunities in payment localisation, new market entry and product adoption, while building your own sales and relationship-management toolkit in a fast-paced fintech environment.
\n
What will I be doing?- Analysing market trends, merchant performance and financial metrics across APAC to identify concrete growth opportunities (e.g., new markets, payment methods, product adoption, optimisation plays).
- Building clear, data-driven presentations, business reviews and narratives for senior client stakeholders, using AI and analytics tools to automate reporting and surface actionable insights at scale.
- Partnering with Growth, Sales, Account Management and Product to design recommendations on payment localisation and regional expansion strategies tailored to each merchant’s priorities.
- Joining client meetings with global MNCs (e.g., leading tech and internet platforms), contributing to discovery, solution framing and follow-ups, and progressively taking ownership of specific workstreams or accounts.
- Supporting prospecting activities: researching target accounts, mapping stakeholders, preparing outreach lists and supporting pipeline development initiatives across key APAC markets.
- Learning and applying sales fundamentals (prospecting, qualification, pitching, objection handling and basic commercial structuring), with increasing ownership of smaller opportunities over time.
- Contributing to scalable playbooks, dashboards and templates that automate recurring growth analyses, reduce manual work and make it easier for commercial teams to act on insights quickly.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams (Operations, Risk, Compliance, Treasury, Data & AI) to validate feasibility of proposed growth initiatives and ensure smooth execution for merchants.
- Acting as a cultural bridge across APAC markets, bringing structured local insights (regulation, consumer behaviour, competitive dynamics) back into our regional growth strategy.
What skills do I need?- To interpret and work with data: ability to analyse large datasets, build clear views in Excel/Sheets or BI tools, and use AI / automation to streamline analysis, identify trends and support decision-making.
- To communicate with senior stakeholders: strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable preparing and presenting concise recommendations to both internal teams and high-profile clients.
- To be genuinely client-centric: enthusiasm for working with global tech and internet companies, listening deeply to their APAC pain points and co-creating solutions with dLocal’s teams.
- To build and grow sales skills: clear interest in learning B2B sales fundamentals (prospecting, pitching, closing) and evidence of proactive initiative in past projects, internships or roles (e.g., independently researching prospects or launching new initiatives).
- To operate across cultures in APAC: adaptability, curiosity and cross-cultural sensitivity, ideally demonstrated through international exposure, time spent in APAC markets or education at leading universities (e.g., NUS, SMU or similar institutions in the region).
- To collaborate and grow with the team: proven experience working in teams (university projects, graduate programs, internships or early roles in business development/fintech), openness to feedback and a strong growth mindset aligned with a high-stakes MNC environment.
- Advanced English (mandatory); additional Asian languages (e.g., Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean) are a plus.
