What’s the opportunity?


We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our Malta-based team, who will be responsible for the Administration and Control of the local entities, mainly dLocal Limited, which is licensed as a Financial Institution by the MFSA, and other dLocal Subsidiaries.

What will I be doing?
  • Reconciliation of the Company’s transactions - processed vs collected vs settled.
  • General accounting and financial reporting duties, including preparation of monthly management accounts, VAT, and other financial reporting, liaising with the Group
  • Finance team to assist in the consolidations of the Group financial statements, and external and internal auditors.
  • General accounting and financial reporting duties for other Group entities based in Malta and the region.
  • Preparation and submission of regulatory reporting to the MFSA and Central Bank of Malta.
  • Analyzing current procedures and if necessary, improving them or creating others, implementing and maintaining them.
  • Providing support and maintaining relationships with customers, existing or new banking providers, and key partners.
  • Performing other ad-hoc duties as required.


What skills do I need?
  • Bachelors of Accounting or similar field; Masters of Accounting is a plus.
  • Strong experience in Accounting in the Payments or Financial Services industries; Experience in a similar role in another Financial Institution is a plus.
  • Already approved by the MFSA (Malta Regulator) or interested in it.
  • Knowledge of EU AML / CTF Operations.
  • Professional, flexible, and highly responsible; excellent communication skills; high attention to detail; highly motivated team player.
  • Advanced/Fluent English.
