Join us as an Enterprise Risk Manager and act as the "control tower" of risk at Qonto, ensuring we grow safely and sustainably as we aim to serve one million SMEs. You will have the widest possible view of our organization, working directly with Clément, our Hiring Manager, and key senior leaders to shape our risk culture and maintain our high standards.
👩💻🧑💻 As an Enterprise Risk Manager at Qonto, you will:
• Monitor and analyze Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across all risk types (Financial, Credit, Operational, Fraud, and Compliance) to detect trends and divergences.
• Act as a strategic partner by challenging indicator owners when metrics deviate from targets, and negotiating effectively to get them back on track.
• Drive the risk culture by proposing new indicators and proactively identifying areas where we need more control or where we should stop certain activities.
• Develop and maintain the Enterprise Risk Management framework, ensuring it scales with our growth and regulatory requirements.
• Produce high-impact reporting, including the Risk & Compliance North Star.
🤔 What you can expect:
• Central and transverse role: You will cover the entire spectrum of risks Qonto is exposed to, acting as a bridge between different departments.
• High visibility and impact: You will interact with C-level stakeholders.
• Modern tooling: We rely on data to make decisions; you will use tools like SQL and Metabase daily to extract insights.
• Scale-up environment: You will work in a setting that values quick adaptation and continuous improvement.
🤝 About your future manager:
You will report to Clément Chaperon, who leads a team structured around three pillars: Enterprise Risk, Credit Risk, and Financial Risk. Clément values analytical rigor and fosters a collaborative environment where team members are encouraged to grow and innovate.
🏅 About You:
• Experience: You have at least 5 years of experience in Risk Management, ideally within a neobank or fintech where you learned to balance banking rigor with agility. A certification like FRM (Financial Risk Manager) is highly valued.
• Seniority & Influence: You are comfortable interacting and negotiating with senior stakeholders (C-levels) and possess the confidence to defend your position.
• Technical Skills: You are proficient in SQL and Metabase to manipulate data autonomously.
• Mindset: You are proactive, solution-oriented, and have a strong "force of proposition" mindset to instill a robust risk culture.
• Languages: You speak fluent English; French is a strong plus for smoother communication with local teams.
At Qonto we understand that true diversity isn't just about ticking boxes on a hiring checklist. Apply regardless of the boxes you tick! Who knows? You may have the missing piece of the puzzle we've been searching for all along.
