Enterprise Communications and Public Affairs Lead
The Enterprise Communications and Public Affairs Lead is responsible for developing and executing strategic communications, media relations, public affairs, and industry engagement initiatives to support the business objectives, reputation, and corporate positioning for Mynt’s business units namely Fuse and One NBG (New Businesses Group). This role reports to the Enterprise Communications and Public Affairs Head. The role requires a strong mix of strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, crisis management, and cross-functional collaboration to drive growth and credibility of Fuse and One NBG.
1. Strategic Communications & Reputation Management: Develop and execute corporate communication strategy, ensuring brand consistency and alignment across Mynt . Drive thought leadership initiatives, positioning of Fuse and One NBG as industry leaders. Craft compelling narratives and messaging to enhance corporate reputation among regulators, customers, and industry stakeholders.
2. Media & Public Affairs Engagement: Manage media relations, press releases, and executive positioning to ensure positive coverage of Fuse and One NBG
Strengthen relationships with journalists, fintech reporters, and industry influencers to maintain a favorable public image. Represent Fuse and One NBG in regulatory discussions, policy forums, and industry groups, advocating for a business-friendly environment.
3. Regulatory & Government Affairs: Support engagement with government agencies, regulators, and policy makers to ensure compliance and advocate for supportive lending regulations. Monitor and analyze regulatory developments that may impact lending operations, providing strategic recommendations to leadership. Collaborate with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure alignment between business operations and regulatory requirements.
4. Crisis & Issue Management: Develop and implement crisis communication strategies, ensuring a swift and effective response to reputation risks. Work closely with the Public Affairs, Media Affairs, and IMCR teams to manage external crises that could impact brand and operations.Prepare risk mitigation plans, messaging frameworks, and scenario-based crisis responses.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Performance Measurement
Work closely with Legal, Risk, Marketing, Compliance, Sustainability, Public Affairs, Corporate Communications, Media Affairs, Investor Relations and Business Strategy teams to ensure communication efforts are aligned with Mynt’s business priorities. Track and report media sentiment, stakeholder engagement success, and policy advocacy impact to measure effectiveness. Continuously refine communication and public affairs strategies based on data insights and evolving industry trends.
