ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
I. Overview
A. Manages the route-to-market development for the General Trade channel and is primarily responsible for developing the distributor infrastructure to support the company’s growth plans. The role is accountable for enhancing the capabilities of distributor organizations to expand reach and distribution in the most efficient way.
B. Oversees capability building for the entire Sales Organization, focusing on skills and competency assessments, as well as the training roadmap for General Trade.
II. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
A. Drives discipline, compliance, and productivity through monthly tracking analytics of Distributive Trade (GT)
B. Acts as the gatekeeper for operations reports and continuously improves tracking methodologies as needed.
III. ROUTE-TO-MARKET OPTIMIZATION
A. Enhances route efficiency (e.g., store acquisition, approval, activation, and funding).
B. Improves headcount efficiency (GCash DT Team and Distributors).
C. Optimizes structural efficiency to drive channelization and focused execution across distributors.
IV. ROUTE-TO-MARKET PROFITABILITY
A. Develops and tracks profitability metrics, including CAPREV, DPAS and Scorecards.
B. Leads quarterly business reviews with the DT Team and distributor partners/owners.
C. Continuously identifies opportunities for cost savings in distributor trade terms and recommends reinvestment options.
V. ROUTE-TO-MARKET CAPABILITY
External:
A. Manages distributor DSP competency and training through regular skills assessments.
B. Curates and leads training modules for distributor personnel.
C. Implements Distributor Sales Personnel (DSP) qualification programs, including incentive schemes.
D. Supports distributor personnel career pathing initiatives.
Internal:
A. Fosters a culture of DT excellence in collaboration with the DT Head and Regional Heads.
VI. ROUTE-TO-MARKET SYSTEM
A. Manages DMS (Distributor Management System) data capability and leads future system enhancements.
B. Ensures accurate and timely daily reporting.
C. Provides daily system support and troubleshooting assistance.
