About the role
  • As a Data Director, you will lead and centralize data teams across LATAM, ensuring alignment with global strategies while balancing local customer management. This role requires a strong technical foundation combined with a business-driven mindset to support decision-making, define KPI strategies, and collaborate closely with the Chief Data Officer. 


What you will do
  • Lead and unify data teams across LATAM, ensuring strategic alignment with global objectives.
  • Partner with the Chief Data Officer to develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy.
  • Define and implement a KPI strategy, ensuring that data insights drive informed decision-making.
  • Oversee business logic processes, data warehouse modeling, and A/B testing methodologies.
  • Act as a bridge between technical and business teams, translating complex data structures into actionable business insights.
  • Work closely with local customer management teams to tailor data solutions that align with regional needs.
  • Ensure best practices in data governance, security, and scalability within a cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making, ensuring that insights are effectively communicated to stakeholders at all levels.


What you need to succeed
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a Data Lead, working on business logic processes, data warehouse modeling, insight delivery, and KPI strategy.
  • Advanced proficiency in English.
  • Strong engineering background using Python, Snowflake, AWS, Kubernetes, and SQL.
  • Ability to define and implement a KPI strategy, conduct A/B testing, and translate data insights into business recommendations.
  • Experience collaborating with executive leadership, shaping data-driven business strategies, and ensuring alignment with global and local business needs.
  • Excellent communication skills to simplify complex data concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage and centralize data teams across multiple regions, ensuring efficiency and consistency
