Provide administrative and clerical support to Payroll and Benefits Department. Serve as a resource person to employees regarding payroll and benefit questions and needs.Lincoln Nebraska Candidates- This position offers a hybrid work option. Our hybrid work environment allows associates living within 30 miles of our Lincoln Nebraska office location to work remotely for part of the week, while also fostering collaboration and team connection through in-office presence three days per week.

Administer benefit transactions for new hires, life events, status changes, and terminations in the HRMS
Coordinate with payroll and vendors to ensure accurate deductions, coverage setup, and reporting
Ensure benefit processes comply with ACA, COBRA, ERISA, and other regulatory requirements
Audit and reconcile HSA, FSA, 401(k), voluntary life, and other contribution files with payroll and vendor data
Resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate, audit‑ready documentation
Conduct ongoing HRMS, payroll, and vendor data audits to ensure system alignment and accuracy
Process Tuition Assistance, Quarterly Wellness Incentives, Healthy Me Bucks, and other program payments according to plan guidelines
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee benefit and wellness inquiries via phone and written communication
Deliver new hire benefit presentations and provide one‑on‑one guidance for newly eligible employees or those with questions during the plan year
Develop and distribute benefit and wellness communications to support employee understanding
Support planning, testing, configuration, communications, and issue resolution for annual Benefits Open Enrollment
Analyze participation and utilization data to support program evaluation and continuous improvement
Support internal and external audits with accurate records and timely reporting
Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support the Benefits & Wellness function
High School diploma or equivalent required, and a 2-year college degree in a business-related field preferred.
At least one year administrative experience in Payroll and/or Benefits. Three years of work experience may be substituted for degree. Previous experience with HRMS systems desired.
Moderate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, ability to navigate Internet and Intranet
Ability to appropriately work with confidential materials
Must have excellent customer service skills
Must be able to effectively communicate in writing, on the phone, and in person
Must be able to work effectively with diverse personalities and maintain professionalism when working with employees and vendors
Must be organized
Must be able to effectively work on multiple projects at the same time with strict deadlines
Must be able to work with a sense of urgency

Pay range for this role is $23.00-$25.00 hourly, depending on experience.
