Role Description:

Lead Bank is seeking a talented Assistant Manager for Product Finance to join a growing team. In this role, you'll help lead daily operations, including reconciliation creation, reviews, and ledger entries. You'll facilitate BaaS program implementation, due diligence, and ongoing program management, while acting as a subject matter expert (SME) for assigned tasks. You will drive report development, maintain program projections, and shape department strategic objectives. Collaborate cross-functionally with key teams to drive process improvements and enhancements. Your responsibilities include preparing financial statements and assisting with regulatory reporting as needed.

In this role you will:
  • Serve as a primary reviewer for daily accounting functions, including reconciliation creation and development, as well as reconciliation reviews.
  • Assist in managing department-wide projects, administrative functions, and the implementation of new programs and partner integrations.
  • Oversee the completion and accuracy of accounting functions performed by team members, ensuring the timely and accurate management of month-end close.
  • Drive continuous process improvements and efficiencies across key accounting functions, and collaborate cross-functionally to enhance data use cases and automation.
  • Maintain program projections and develop reporting to support analytical needs for various departments.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for system applications used within the department, such as Microsoft Office, Wrike, Intelligence Workplace/Prologue, Excel, PowerBI, and SQL.
  • Help drive and shape department strategic objectives and track miscellaneous projects as assigned by Accounting Leaders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of accounting experience
  • Experience in Banking as a Service (BaaS) or fintech industries is a plus.
  • Are action-oriented, with strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Have strong judgment, instincts and analytical skills
  • Demonstrates a strong ability to effectively prioritize assignments and manage time/deadlines
  • Client obsessed mentality 
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with a strong team orientation mentality
  • Self starter, engaged, proactive and ready to roll up your sleeves

Zone 3: $85,000 - $103,000 (Other US Metros)
