About the Role:


The role of a Senior Analyst in Data Analytics involves overseeing the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to support business decision-making. Senior Analysts are responsible for developing and implementing data models, identifying trends and patterns, and providing actionable insights to improve operational efficiency and drive strategic initiatives.


They often collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute data-driven solutions, leveraging advanced statistical and machine learning techniques. Additionally, Senior Analysts play a key role in developing data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, and communicating findings to stakeholders effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze tell a story from large amounts of complex data using different tools and data analysis techniques.
  • Define, measure, and monitor KPIs, with a focus on experimentation and incremental improvements.
  • Construct dash boards and tools that enable non-analysts to explore data on their own.
  • Develop new and maintain existing suite of dash boards to ensure quality and accuracy of reporting meets evolving business requirements.
  • Support strategic planning processes through building models to forecast different operational scenarios and impacts to our business.
  • Interface with cross-functional teams to gather information, prepare MIS reports and track performance.
  • Undertake strategic finance projects to improve company performance.
  • Support ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and troubleshooting.


Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of experience in analytical roles such as data analyst or business analyst.
  • Expertise in programming languages like Python, SQL, MS Excel. Proficiency in MongoDB queries is a plus.
  • Experience with BI tools like Metabase or Tableau.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to identify trends and propose solutions.
  • Experience in creating interactive dashboards and easily understandable data visualizations, preferably using Tableau.
  • Well organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, working with various departments and individuals to achieve solutions that drive revenue growth.
  • Comfortable presenting findings to diverse audiences, including senior management and non-technical disciplines.
