Alternative Payment Method (APM) Manager
APM Manager for East Africa (based in Unlimit Tanzania office)
The Alternate Payment Manager (APM) manager partners with the Country Head, Product Management team, Implementation Team. Their main goal is to provide a seamless experience between implementation and technical support for all the Unlimit merchants in East Africa; including Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, etc. APMs are crucial in Unlimit’s global strategy as they allow our merchants to meet their customers with payment systems they are comfortable with.
The APM manager manages executes against KPI’s that measure the objectives of our internal and external stakeholders:Net Promoter Score (NPS) of the East Africa merchants (>80%) - they received excellent customer service and are love UnlimitSuccess Transactions Rate (SR) >= 80% for all African based APM’s - Ensure stability and reliability of Unlimit ServiceThe Technical Support Officer in East Africa reports directly to the Head of Products of at Unlimit and works with the local Chief Operations Officers in Africa.
Job description:
Take the lead of implementing each new Merchant in East Africa during the onboarding stage.
Resolving all issues with all APMs raised by Merchants
Facilitate communication between departments such as between the APM’s,Integration, and Product Teams; and look to make the process faster and smoother.
Perform quality control: provide daily testing of Unlimit Transactions and monitor Payments SR
Support API integrations with the clients to achieve successful onboarding to our API products.
Support the sales team during the pre-sales engagement with prospective clients to enable them to propose the right solution to the partners.
Articulate requirements for each integration with detailed user flow and acceptance criteria.
Effectively use data and insights from multiple sources that benefits the organization to make decisions on product management.
Constantly pursue incremental delivery by looking for ways to meet business goals through frequent, measurable product enhancements.
Monitor and improve product health and performance by analyzing transactions, user feedback, and other product metrics.
Prioritize and resolve issues and defects through collaboration within the delivery team and other stakeholders.
Effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders such as banks and processors.
Must be able to prioritize integrations based on business demands.
Ensure appropriate reports are shared in a timely manner with the business team.
When technical issues arise, ensure immediate resolution to prevent gaps in business operation Ensure all services are working as expected without deviations in terms of functionality and charges.
Minimize potential risk of outages that can impact customer experience by proactively planning and providing adequate information on integration to live.
