Job Summary:

Wellfit Technologies, a leading financial technology provider in the dental industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Scrum Master to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience working closely with development teams, and a proven track record of implementing Agile methodologies to optimize productivity and delivery. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment and is capable of balancing collaboration and assertiveness to ensure the success of our Agile teams.


Scrum Master Responsibilities:

• Serve as a dedicated Scrum Master for 2-3 teams, ensuring adherence to Agile values, principles, and practices.

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Drive the team's commitment to achieving sprint goals and maintaining a sustainable pace.

• Remove obstacles, address conflicts, and manage impediments to allow the team to focus on delivering high-quality results.

• Maintain and track key metrics such as team velocity and sprint burn-downs.

• Mentor team members on Agile best practices and continuously refine processes for maximum efficiency.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Foster a culture of trust and open communication among the development team, QA, architects, and other technical contributors.

• Engage closely with project managers, product owners, and technical leads to ensure alignment on project objectives and delivery timelines.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across different departments to address project dependencies and resolve conflicts.

 

Technical Project Management:

• Manage Agile projects with technical proficiency, focusing on software development lifecycles and modern Agile frameworks.

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedules, resources, and risk management.

• Ensure that project deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

 

Team Leadership and Influence:

• Guide teams in the proper use of Agile tools like Jira and Confluence.

• Coach and support team members to promote engagement, foster innovation, and improve overall productivity.

• Lead by example, maintaining a hands-on approach and staying closely connected to the day-to-day operations of the team.

 

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of direct Scrum Master experience, working specifically with development teams in a technical environment.

• Experience working in SaaS, FinTech, or startup environments preferred.

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification is required.

PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner) or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification is a strong plus.

• Proficiency with JIRAConfluence, and other Agile project management tools.

• Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects in a remote environment.

• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong influencing skills to guide development teams in achieving sprint goals.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on technical background (development or QA) to engage effectively with engineering teams.

• Experience managing smaller company teams (fewer than 500 employees) to ensure strong cultural fit and adaptability.

• Background in financial technology or SaaS is a plus, but not mandatory.

• Ability to foster engagement and collaboration in geographically distributed teams.
