The Role:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented colleague to join our finance team at HQ. This role is a great opportunity both for:
Early-career candidates who want to build their finance career and grow into a broader accounting/controlling position, and Experienced profiles looking to work closer to C-level management in an international environment.
You will handle a variety of accounting, administrative, and finance-related tasks. While some responsibilities are standard accounting work, you will also be involved in more complex assignments, finance projects, and exposure to cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities- Perform and oversee bank reconciliations (including working with automation tools and resolving exceptions).
- Support monthly closing processes (accruals, salary entries, VAT reporting).
- Process supplier invoices and ensure correct coding in the accounting system.
- Follow up on missing receipts, invoice approvals, and unpaid balances.
- Handle the company finance mailbox and distribute tasks accordingly.
- Assist with VAT submissions and other compliance-related tasks.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, including C-level, to resolve queries and ensure deadlines are met.
- Provide daily oversight and guidance to two student assistants for invoice processing and basic admin tasks.
- Support ad hoc finance projects and process improvements.
Who You Are- Recently graduated in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field, or have 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Organized, with good time management and the ability to coordinate multiple assignments.
- A confident communicator – you will interact with both colleagues and senior management.
- Responsible and proactive – you take ownership of tasks and follow them through.
- Comfortable working in an international environment – English is our working language.
- Fluent in Danish (written and spoken) – required.
- Interested in growing into a broader accounting/controlling role over time.
