We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting accounting transactions, and ensuring smooth reconciliation and settlement processes that are vital to our company’s financial integrity.

Responsibilities:

·Execute day-to-day bookkeeping tasks to ensure accurate financial records.

·Support accounting transactions and assist in preparing financial statements and budgets in line with reporting deadlines.

·Process accounts payable by handling vendor invoices and payments, maintaining effective communication with suppliers.

·Perform daily, monthly, and periodic reconciliations of financial data (e.g. card & payment schemes).

·Prepare and maintain detailed reconciliation reports, documenting discrepancies, resolutions, and any recurring issues. 

·Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to gather relevant information & to support the accounting functionality related to reconciliation and settlement.

·Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. 

·Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in financial reconciliation, accounting, or auditing. 

·Α good understanding of financial and management accounting concepts is essential. 

·Strong numeracy and analytical skills, comfortable working with large volumes of data.

·Proficiency in financial software & Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI. 

·Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.

·Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. 

·Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. 

·Familiarity with AI-powered tools and a strong interest in leveraging automation and advanced technologies to enhance accounting and reconciliation processes.
