As a member of the Systems Engineering team in Optasia, you will be responsible for the effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of Microsoft-based systems infrastructure. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuous innovation within the enterprise environment.
This role ensures that Windows Server platforms, Azure services, Active Directory, endpoint management systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values and security standards, enabling staff, partners, and stakeholders to operate efficiently and securely.

What you will do

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Microsoft-based systems for scalability, security, and performance.

• Take ownership of Windows and Azure architecture decisions, contributing to long-term infrastructure strategy and roadmap planning.
• Design and manage enterprise Active Directory environments, including GPO governance and identity management.
• Administer and optimize Windows Server 2022 / 2025 environments.
• Manage and enhance Microsoft Intune for endpoint lifecycle management, compliance enforcement, and secure device provisioning.
• Architect and support Azure environments, including identity, networking, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Act as a technical authority during critical incidents: diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex Microsoft-related production issues under pressure.
• Drive automation initiatives using PowerShell and Azure-native tools to eliminate manual tasks and improve operational reliability.
• Establish and enforce system hardening, compliance standards, and Microsoft security best practices (CIS, NIST, etc...).
• Administer and support collaboration platforms such as Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket, ensuring integration with infrastructure workflows.
• Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers, fostering knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure capabilities with business objectives.
• Evaluate and introduce new Microsoft technologies to enhance system resilience and performance.

What you will bring

• 7+ years of proven experience as a Systems Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or similar senior-level role focused on Microsoft technologies.

• BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field will be considered a plus.
• Deep expertise with Windows Server 2022 / 2025 administration and optimization.
• Strong experience with Active Directory.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint security management.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills and automation mindset.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, storage systems, and virtualization platforms.
• Proven track record of building secure, highly available Microsoft infrastructures.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket administration and integration.
• Strong incident management and root cause analysis capabilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience mentoring engineers.
• Fluent English (both written and spoken).
