As we enter this next phase, we’re looking for a Vice President of Product to lead our growing product team and help define what great looks like as we scale.This role is perfect for someone who combines strategic clarity with product obsession, someone who can elevate the function while staying close to execution, customers and outcomes.
As our VP of Product, you’ll be responsible for leading the entire product organisation at Kody. You’ll report directly to the CEO and work closely with the CTO, taking the lead on product vision, team structure, and delivery cadence across all core domains, including payments, financial tooling and loyalty infrastructure.Y
You’ll guide, coach, and challenge our PMs to think bigger and move faster, and you’ll help shape the company’s broader roadmap through a deep understanding of our customers, competitive landscape, and commercial priorities.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and evolve Kody’s product vision and strategy in alignment with business goals
- Lead, grow, and develop a high-performing team of Product Managers
- Define product structure, rituals and best practices that scale with us
- Partner with Engineering, Design, Commercial and Ops to ensure we build the right things the right way & ship them fast
- Maintain a laser focus on our users, with regular customer interaction, feedback loops and analytics
- Balance innovation with execution, ensuring we continuously iterate while staying aligned to big-picture goals
- Shape go-to-market execution and ensure strong cross-functional alignment around product launches
- Make build/buy/partner decisions that keep us lean and focused
- Regularly present product plans, progress and risks to the leadership team and board
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years in product roles, with at least 3 years leading product teams in a fast-paced tech company
- Track record of building and scaling complex B2B or B2B2C products (ideally in fintech, payments, loyalty or infrastructure)
- Deep understanding of how to balance product vision with execution urgency
- Previous hands-on product experience i.e. you’ve built products, made tradeoffs and shipped fast
- Strong technical fluency (you don’t need to code, but you do need to earn engineers’ respect)
- Highly analytical mindset, comfortable with data and metrics-driven decision making
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across exec, commercial, and technical functions
- Action Mindset i.e. you move fast, take accountability and expect the same from your team
Nice to haves:
- Prior engineering experience or formal technical background
- Experience with SME and/or enterprise software
- Familiarity with regulatory environments or working with compliance teams
