Elevate your career in an environment where your ideas matter, your growth is nurtured, and your potential is limitless.

This role acts as a bridge between business and technical teams to ensure data solutions are fit-for-purpose, scalable, and aligned with enterprise data strategy.

You will help embed good data management practices into those teams. In addition, this role will also provide user support and guidance, enabling adoption of new tools to achieve better outcomes.

The Value Proposition of the Technical Business Analyst is uplifting the speed to market and quality of data solutions which support strategic outcomes including deep insights into our clients and partners; trusted, reliable data for our stakeholders; self-service and near real-time access to data.

As our Technical Business Analyst your key responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and the Enterprise Data Strategy.
  • Document and maintain solution artefacts including, but not limited to, conceptual and logical data models, data flows, process maps, component views, and integration points. Ensure artefacts are scalable, reusable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.

  • Promote and embed data governance practices across the Enterprise Data team. Where standards and templates are lacking, proactively develop and drive adoption of documentation and metadata frameworks.
  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions with cross-functional teams. Translate complex technical concepts into clear business language and ensure stakeholder alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Support change management activities including impact assessments, training material development, testing coordination, and post-implementation reviews to ensure successful adoption of data solutions.
  • Work closely with Data Engineers, Architects, and Analysts to validate requirements, interpret profiling results, and ensure data quality and consistency across solutions.
  • Build subject matter expertise in key data domains, systems, and business processes over time.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the manager to meet operational and strategic needs.
