Only three and a half years after entering the market, Mondu is one of Europe’s leading B2B payments providers. Now live across 30+ markets, trusted by ambitious companies, and operating with an EMI license, we’re expanding our commercial footprint in Europe, and beyond.

We’re hiring a hands-on Strategy & Growth Manager to own high‑impact initiatives that unlock new growth and move our strategy forward. Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, you’ll work with our senior leadership and cross‑functional teams to turn strategy into execution and launch new solutions with partners.

The Strategy & Partnerships team defines the long‑term growth path for Mondu and executes against it. We develop market entry strategies, new payment propositions, and strategic distribution partnerships (e.g., PSPs, platforms). We also run the operating cadence to align teams on priorities, track progress against goals, and translate outcomes into investor updates that strengthen our equity story.

🚧 What you’ll do

  • Shape and drive strategic initiatives end‑to‑end – from identifying opportunities with partners to launching new solutions.
  • Build robust business cases (sizing, unit economics, sensitivities) that inform clear go/no‑go decisions and investment allocation.
  • Lead the operating rhythm for strategic priorities, aligning senior leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders, tracking progress to measurable outcomes, and unblocking execution.
  • Craft high‑quality documents and materials with clear narratives, sharp insights, and decision‑ready recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Track industry trends and competitive dynamics to generate actionable insights and maintain a pipeline of high‑conviction ideas.
  • Cultivate relationships across the ecosystem (PSPs, platforms, marketplaces, complementary providers) to spot and shape distribution opportunities early.

🏅 What you need to succeed

Experience:

  • 3+ years in a dynamic, high‑bar environment (top‑tier consulting, fintech/operator, or VC/growth environment preferred).
  • Demonstrated ownership of complex, multi‑stakeholder projects through to implementation and measurable impact, up to senior leadership.
  • Strong commercial acumen; fintech/payments exposure is a plus.

Skills:

  • Structured problem solver with strong analytical rigor; comfort with financial modeling and decision frameworks.
  • Excellent communicator who distills complexity into crisp recommendations and high‑quality decision documents.
  • Hands‑on collaborator who can work closely with other functions to ship outcomes.
  • Professional fluency in English and Dutch.
