The Senior Officer, Process Optimization, will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and continuously improving business processes and workflows across ZainCash. This individual will be responsible for identifying inefficiencies, collaborating with various stakeholders to map and optimize processes, and leveraging data to drive impactful improvements that enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the customer and employee experience.

Process Design & Development:

  • Lead initiatives to map, analyze, and design new business processes and workflows from end-to-end, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate extensively with department heads, product managers, technical teams, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, understand current state challenges, and co-create future state solutions.
  • Develop comprehensive process documentation, including flowcharts, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user guides.

Process Improvement & Optimization:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of existing processes to identify bottlenecks, redundant steps, control gaps, and opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.
  • Utilize process improvement methodologies to recommend and implement practical, data-driven solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving.

Performance Monitoring & Enhancement:

  • Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to process efficiency, effectiveness, and quality.
  • Analyze KPI data to identify trends, pinpoint areas for further enhancement, and measure the impact of implemented changes.
  • Proactively recommend process enhancements based on performance analysis, emerging technologies, and best practices.

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management:

  • Act as a central point of contact and subject matter expert for process-related inquiries and initiatives.
  • Effectively communicate process changes and their benefits to all relevant stakeholders, ensuring buy-in and smooth adoption.
  • Support change management activities to ensure successful implementation of new processes and tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in business process analysis, process improvement, operations management, or a similar role, preferably within the financial services, fintech, or payment industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of financial services, including banking operations, digital payments, and e-wallets.
