Senior Event Manager

The Senior Event Manager will be responsible for the conception to completion, planning and delivery of some of our flagship Europe and Asia based awards and summits within the financial sector for With Intelligence. The role also involves line management of two team members. This busy role would suit an articulate and confident senior event manager who has existing line management experience along with meticulous attention to detail. Existing experience within high end events is essential along with the ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment. This role also requires experience and competencies within event platforms and software systems as well as a fast learner who can onboard quickly across multiple platforms.

Please note this is a 1 year fixed-term contract.

Responsibilities:

• Reports into Deputy Head of Event Operations
• End to end project management
• Budget management
• End-to-end Awards scheme management: securing judges, tracking entries, coordinating shortlisting and judging, managing table bookings and executing flawless ceremonies
• Liaise with and manage all internal and external event stakeholders
• Management of internal deadlines and reporting systems
• Management of flagship annual series including overseeing growth and development of the event
• Ability to think outside the box to create and design new initiatives for event attendees onsite
• Line management
• Use of various platforms and software systems
• Post-event evaluation and de-brief

• Proven previous experience in business event management
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Able to prioritise effectively and multi-task across a number of complex events
• Numerate and commercially aware
• Ability to pick up processes and projects quickly and hit the ground running
• Reliable team player
• Willing to work unsocial hours as required
• Passion for the job
• Able to outperform in a fast-paced environment
• International travel may be required
• Previous line management experience
