Role Summary

The Regional Manager, Recovery is responsible for leading and overseeing all field recovery operations across the region, ensuring strong portfolio performance, reduced non-performing loans (NPLs), effective roll rate management, regulatory compliance, and high team productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional recovery strategies to reduce Portfolio at Risk (PAR) and improve recovery rates.
  • Set regional targets, KPIs, and activity expectations for field teams.
  • Oversee deployment of field resources, visit planning, skip tracing, and escalation processes.
  • Drive portfolio roll rate reduction across all DPD buckets.
  • Monitor regional portfolio performance and ensure timely recovery actions.
  • Review and approve restructuring and settlement proposals within delegated authority.
  • Ensure effective tracking of recovery activities using collections systems and dashboards.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and ethical collection standards.
  • Oversee audits of field activities to prevent fraud and misconduct.
  • Recruit, train, and manage Field Collections Agents, Team Leads, and Supervisors.
  • Build a high-performance, accountable, and productivity-driven culture.
  • Collaborate with Credit, Risk, Legal, Operations, and Customer Service teams.
  • Provide regular performance reports and insights to senior management.
  • Improve field recovery processes, SOPs, routing, and reporting frameworks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field (MBA or professional certification is an advantage).
  • 6+ years of experience in field recovery within financial services/lending.
  • 2–3+ years in a senior leadership or regional supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of credit risk, delinquency management, and roll rate dynamics.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and ethical collection practices.
  • Proven leadership experience managing large, distributed field teams.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.

Recruitment Process
